1. Return Eligibility
We accept returns on most items under the following conditions:
- The return request is raised within 7 days of the delivery date.
- The item is unused, unworn, and unwashed.
- The item is in its original condition with all tags, labels, and packaging intact.
- The item is accompanied by the original invoice or proof of purchase.
2. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are strictly not eligible for return or exchange:
- Innerwear, lingerie, and swimwear
- Items marked as Final Sale or Non-Returnable on the product page
- Products that have been used, washed, altered, or damaged by the customer
- Items without original tags or packaging
- Gift cards or promotional vouchers
3. How to Initiate a Return
Returning an item with Chic Chikan is simple. Follow these steps:
Step 1 — Contact Us Reach out to our support team via the Contact Us page at www.chicchikan.in/contact-us within 7 days of receiving your order. Provide your order number, item details, and reason for return.
Step 2 — Return Approval Our team will review your request and respond within 2–3 business days with a confirmation and further instructions.
Step 3 — Pack Your Item Carefully pack the item in its original packaging with all tags and accessories included. Attach the invoice inside the package.
Step 4 — Ship the Item Ship the item to the address provided by our support team. We recommend using a trackable courier service to ensure the safe return of your package.
Step 5 — Inspection & Confirmation Once we receive the returned item, our team will inspect it within 2–3 business days and notify you of the approval or rejection of your return.
4. Exchanges
If you wish to exchange an item for a different size or colour, please follow the same return process mentioned above and indicate your preferred exchange option when contacting our support team.
- Exchanges are subject to product availability.
- If the desired item is out of stock, a refund will be processed instead.
- Only one exchange is permitted per order.
5. Refunds
Once your return is approved and the item has been inspected:
- Refund to Original Payment Method — Refunds will be credited back to your original payment method within 7–10 business days after the return is approved.
- Store Credit — If you prefer, we can issue store credit equivalent to the refund amount, which can be used on your next purchase at Chic Chikan.
- Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to a defective or incorrect item sent by us.
6. Damaged or Defective Items
We take great care in packaging and quality control. However, if you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item:
- Contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and clear photographs of the issue.
- We will arrange a free return pickup and offer you a full refund or replacement at no additional cost.
- Claims raised after 48 hours of delivery may not be eligible for a free replacement or full refund.
7. Return Shipping Charges
- If the return is due to a defective, damaged, or incorrect item, Chic Chikan will bear the return shipping cost.
- If the return is due to a change of mind, wrong size ordered, or any other customer preference, the return shipping cost will be borne by the customer.
- We recommend using a reliable courier service with tracking. Chic Chikan is not responsible for items lost or damaged during the return transit.
8. Cancellations
- Orders can be cancelled within 24 hours of placing the order, provided the item has not yet been dispatched.
- To cancel an order, contact our support team immediately via the Contact Us page.
- If the order has already been dispatched, cancellation will not be possible and the standard return process will apply.
- Refunds for cancelled orders will be processed within 5–7 business days.
9. Important Notes
- Chic Chikan reserves the right to reject any return that does not meet the stated conditions.
- Returns that are received in a used, damaged, or incomplete condition will be sent back to the customer at their expense.
- Refund timelines may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.
- Chic Chikan is not responsible for any delays in refunds caused by third-party payment processors or banks.
